The nominations for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Apple TV+'s Severance led the nominations with 27 nods, making it the most-nominated series. Following Severance was HBO Max's The Penguin with 24 nominations, and then The Studio and The White Lotus tied for third with 23 nominations each.
Brenda Song and Harvey Guillén announced the nominations. They are stars of "Running Point" and "What We Do in the Shadows," respectively. Nominees for Outstanding Talk Series and Outstanding Reality Competition were announced earlier. Nate Bargatze will host the Emmy Awards, which will be broadcast live on CBS on September 14.
