"David Ditch Day"
in honor of his 65th Birthday
David was one of my favorite Gemini's
born on May 26th, 1958
David was a very kind and loving soul.
I know that I am who I am because I met David
and his wife Faith in Feb. 1986
I knew when I met David for the first time would
become fast friends because we had ceramics and art in common.
My parents owned a ceramic shop and David made doll pieces for antique dolls
who had lost parts along their ride to the future.
He would talk to the dolls like he could see into the souls.
He would say to the doll "Tell me where you have been all my life
Miss Lady"
David loved nothing more than fixing a doll and
sending the doll back home "All Doll Up" from where they came!
David created a lot of art but what he called "Heads" very Pop Art
made of ceramic in the form of a wig stand, painted as if they had makeup on
with very interesting designs.
I'm sure in the future these "Heads" wig stands of David's will be very rare and collectable,
All of David's art work has a handprint imprint so you know it's the real thing!
