The artist behind the iconic “Hope” poster that became a prominent symbol of Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign has created similar artwork for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential bid.  Shepard Fairey’s new poster, titled “Forward,” features the Democratic nominee in shades of blue, contrasted by red lipstick. Harris is depicted wearing a pearl earring and necklace.

Double Arch geologic feature collapsed

National Park Service Rangers have confirmed the collapse of a frequently visited arch in Rock Creek Bay in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah. The “Double Arch” geologic feature has also been referred to as the “Toilet Bowl”, “Crescent Pool”, and “Hole in the Roof”.

Double Arch was formed from 190-million-year-old Navajo sandstone originating in the late Triassic to early Jurassic periods.
